The Bambu Lab P1S and Creality K2 Plus are the two most talked-about mid-range CoreXY printers right now. We spent two weeks with both to help you decide.
Print Quality
Both produce excellent results at standard speeds. At 300mm/s+, the P1S maintains slightly better quality thanks to its more refined input shaper calibration. The K2 Plus is no slouch though — the gap is small enough that most users won't notice.
Speed
Both claim 500mm/s max speeds. In practice, the P1S is faster for complex models due to better acceleration handling. The K2 Plus wins on simple geometry where its raw speed advantage shows.
Software
Bambu Studio is more polished, but the K2 Plus works with any slicer via standard gcode. The P1S requires Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer for full functionality.
Value
At $699 vs $599, the K2 Plus is $100 cheaper. But the P1S includes the AMS Lite for multi-color printing, which would cost extra on the Creality.
Our pick: P1S for multi-material users, K2 Plus for budget-focused single-material printing.
